Worst holiday present to receive ever?...

My sister surfs the web more than moi. So recently, she shared some doozy of stories of a forum she was reading (over 300 pages) within "money central". This is one my sister thought took the cake and I have to agree.

For a little background on our family, we only got one gift maybe two a piece for myself and my siblings growing up. Part of the reason was economics and the other was my folks did not want us be spoiled or materialistic. Other than being a season of parties, holiday cards and such Christmas is not a big deal to our family.

Here is one of the stories from that message board on msn money.

The worst-ever christmas gift?

We were laughing so hard I think shewas offended. We have a Christmas party with all our friends at the lake. Everyone brings a white elephant gift. Myhusband is tooo nice and thinks he has to bring a"nice" gift which he did. He opens the gift he endedup with and it is a frozen road killed dead weasel. (top that for a bad gift!) I am not kidding. Thehost and hostess were both distressed that he was going to put this down on their designer furniture. This year we are all bringing gifts to be donated to charity.
