BSCC Holiday Party

We just had our holiday party that I helped plan at the College Club in the Back Bay. It was my second holiday party for my alma mater for the local club. I am glad that I had a chance to do it. But I find when you have special events, you really cannot socialize as much as you are trying to get things done.

We had Groove a capella group perform and they drove in from Western Mass (Smith College) for the holiday party. Smith Alums are always glad to see undergrads. They sang a great half hour set with a mix of holiday songs and other songs such as "Dreams", "One Fine Day", "I"ll Stop the World (Melt with You)", "I'll Be Home for Christmas", "Moondance" and their "Groove Medley" were some of the songs they sang.

Jesse of the College Club was wonderful! Their food and staff were amazing! The space lovely and we all loved the delicious punch, baked brie, fruit, and the passed finger foods were great from the fig topped goat cheese cracker, chicken and shrimp appetizers were among some big hits with the guests. Everyone had so much fun, we had to be shooed out because we did not want to leave the event.

Thanks to all those who helped most especially my co-chair for doing a great job with the mailing, invitation it was fabulous! Aud, and Christina for doing door duty with me. Big thanks to Phoebe for helping me out with everything from the name tags, registration duties and just being a great help.A warm thank you goes to Amy M and her firm Ruberto, Israel & Weiner for their sponsorship of the party!
