I went to Waterfire with two newbies (only my second time and I first went back in 2005). It is basically every Saturday night after dusk you have new age music and some fires lit up in the middle of the amazingly renovated and redone downtown area in Providence to look at fires being lit.
It was a lovely night and not too nippy. We walked around after a lovely meal at Pot au Feu's bistro. It was a nice getaway and only an hour south of Boston. We had a blast and it was good to chat with my friends.
