Life after Bar Harbor....then Bermuda problems

This period of time (early September) has been abundant in travel opportunities. First weekend was in Bar Harbor and now in the Bermuda for a destination wedding. Once back in Boston, I am back barely 48 hours and then I will be embarking on a trip to Los Angeles for a friend's wedding.

Tuesday night -September 4, 2007 and Wednesday September 5, 2007---The previous night I was running on less than 4 hours of sleep. (VEOH, 커피프린스 1호점 addiction). My WSJ gets delivered very early in the morning and I picked it up at 4:30am! I was shocked! Got some sleep and then had a full day at work 9-5 but stayed a bit more due to some other duties.

Had some last minute projects and had to not attend a meeting as I had some computer problems getting some TL quoting software issues. By the time everything was completed I got home by 11:3opm. (Thanks mysoju and veoh in regards to 커피프린스 1호점 ep 15-17). I go home and watched "TOP CHEF" down to the wire and Howie was sent home. This challenge was a group challenge to cook food for a top rising fashion designer in Miami. His two dishes failed to excite the judges but Hung was not far behind with his uncreative salmon mousse and cucumber slice (per the judge's comments). Then did some packing and hit the hay at 3am. BIG MISTAKE (not getting enough sleep).

Thursday, September 6, 2007--I got up thanks to my sis at 7:30am. OOPS I ignored my alarm and I was late for my flight. But the night before I could not check in on Delta (turns out international flights you cannot get the boarding pass early). Tried to find alternative (only one flight leaves Boston at 8:47am) and there is a flight from Atlanta at 10am---no way possible to make it. Then leaving on Friday would cost an additional $462 (on top of the $350) I had paid. What is I threw away part 1 and took the return flight as OW on Jet blue would cost $200, it still would cost another $82! (I opted to save the value and pay the $100 change fee as long as I used it before June 28, 2008).

Thanks to my sis I ended up borrowing some cash ($10) and grab a cab. My game plan (now it is 8:30am) to go to the airport, get a JETBLUE RT ticket to Bermuda and be on the 10:47am. I grab a cab at Coolidge Corner (calling for a cab was a joke!). I got there in 30 minutes and with tax it cost $40.

I get to the ticket counter (luckily it is relatively empty). I bought my ticket for $476 RT. I head over and buy a hummus veggie rep , water and a small portion of cheese. It is a sunny day and around 70's . I heard that in Bermuda it is 70's with chance of rain and muggy.

I get to sleep during the (less than 2 hour flight). Lost reception for the television (catching up on Project Runway and MTV) so that only caused me to want to sleep even more.
